Stacie & Mike in St. Petersburg, FL
Stacie and Mike's winter beach wedding brought their love of the sea indoors.
Knot Pick
The couple timed their early evening ceremony on the Breckenridge Deck of the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort to coincide with sunset. Stacie is a self-described "detail-oriented" kind of gal, and she wrote the entire interfaith ceremony with assistance from the officiants and TheKnot.com, of course. "Mike is Catholic and I‘m Jewish, so we felt it was important that our ceremony include traditions from both religions," says Stacie.
Stacie and Mike's winter wedding showcased their love for their seaside home -- and for each other.

The Date January 12

Beach lovers Stacie and Mike have a romantic tradition: They take quiet walks on the beach and gather colorful and interesting shells to take home for their collection. One evening they came upon what was to be a very memorable seashell. "Mike pointed out a unique-looking translucent shell," remembers Stacie. "I bent over to take a closer look and he got down on one knee, picked up the shell, and opened it to reveal my engagement ring," she says.
